What are Community WODs?
Memorial WODs
Created by local CrossFit gyms to honor fallen members, coaches, or community figures. These workouts carry personal significance and often go viral within the CrossFit community.
Viral WODs
Workouts shared by influencers and athletes on Twitter, Instagram, and other social platforms that gain popularity through social proof and challenging programming.
Gym Specials
Unique WODs created by specific CrossFit boxes that become signature workouts, often used for fundraisers or special events.
How They Differ
Unlike official Hero WODs (honoring military/first responders) or Girl WODs (CrossFit HQ benchmarks), Community WODs come from the grassroots CrossFit community.
